I wrote about this before and it's only worse now. The traffic light timing going from Broad to Front street is very frustrating and causes delays. I get a minimum of 5 red lights traveling this stretch every morning.
The stupidest delay is at the light at the Whitman plaza. When you are stopped for a red light there the light at 4th street is green. As soon as the light at the plaza entrance turns green the light at 4th street (1/4 of a block away) turns red. Really? I just take my foot off the brake and coast up to the next light. Please, someone own this issue, do a study and take of this.. Thanks

Ticket #1551314. Ticket forwarded to Streets Department for follow-up. A Streets Department Investigator will visit site within 24 hours to evaluate and take appropriate action to make intersection safe. Work should be completed within 4 business days.
After the timeframe of your request has passed, you can check the status of your ticket by calling 311 Monday thru Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8 p.m. Just give us the ticket number and we can check it for you. You can also go online to www.phila.gov/philly311 and track your request. Thank you. (mb)
